Blackjack Basic Strategy
Never split 10s
Always split Aces and Eights, regardless
of what the dealer has showing
Never take insurance unless you are
counting the cards
Stand on hard 13 through 16 only if
the dealer is showing a 6 or lower.
If the dealer can have a ten underneath
and win, as in a 7 through Ace showing,
then you are going to need to hit.
If the dealer is showing a 4,5, or
a 6, you should stand on a hard 12.
If the dealer is showing 2,3, or then
7 through Ace then you are going to
need to hit.
When you are in a position that you
need to hit, keep hitting until you
get 17 or above or you bust.
Hit soft 17's if the dealer has a
10 showing.
Make sure the table minimum is not
more than 5% of your bankroll and
know the rules of the particular table
you are on.
